Tribal Pulse presents Sandrien (Imprint/Trouw)

Tribal Pulse presents Sandrien (Imprint/Trouw)

Sandrien (Imprint/Trouw)
Boom Merchant
3d Visuals by Diane Edwards
£5 advance from resident advisor.net / £8

For our next event we bring you yet another Scottish exclusive, and an absolutely unique talent. We’ve had our eye on Sandrien since watching her dismantle the Trouw dancefloor at ADE last year. A frequent headliner at Berghain and fresh from a tour of Japan alongside Peter Van Hoesen, her marathon sets at her own creation, Imprint at Trouw, have become the talk of Europe. Spanning the globe, she’s become an international ambassador for the club at the world’s top venues.

For a taste of what to expect, check out her recent podcast for Resident Advisor. She crafts her sets with dark techno grooves, huge ambient swells and enough energy and momentum to make this an unmissable night of electronic music.

Sandrien’s productions have also made major impact. Danny Howells used her “Haters” EP on Darko Esser’s Wolfskuil imprint in his Balance Mix CD. Ben Sims released her hard hitter “I left My Girlfriend at the Club”on his respect Theory label, and used it in his Fabric Mix CD. She’s undoubtedly one of the brightest prospects in techno, and a pleasure to listen to.

Warming up we have Boom Merchant. His latest EP Stars/Green Symphony on Tribal Pulse received the thumbs up from numerous publications and gathered massive support from influential DJs from across the electronic music spectrum including John Digweed, Dave Seaman, Danny Rampling and Stacey Pullen, with Digweed including Green Symphony in the latest episode of Transitions.

Expect nothing but the finest mind expanding house and techno music. Diane Edwards will be providing us with an exciting array of 3D visuals, and we’ll be adding extra Funktion One units to Saint Judes’ already chunky sound system. Only £5 advance or £8 on the door, this has all the ingredients for a night of absolute chaos.
