Simon Stokes
Simon Stokes has always been fascinated two things: sound and technology. The music he produces is inspired by the seasons, and he can happily flit between producing deep, dark techno in the long Scottish winter months, to upbeat Chicago-influenced, jazz-splattered house for the summer beach parties. Stokes’ approach to music is all about personality, and it is this philosophy that sets him apart from the pack.

Glasgow-based producer and DJ Mr. Copy was runner up in Beatport’s Remix Competition with a remix of Slam’s ‘We’re not here’ single. He has been producing since 2004 released tracks such as ‘Minerva’, ‘Derive’ and ‘Jack Move’ on Labels such as Sleaze, Soma and Lucky Me. Steering away from the laptop route, he has blown the Soma team away with his raw and full-on productions. Mr. Copy’s musical style is undeniably dance-floor orientated, with driving basslines, stabbing synths and aggressive, rolling percussion. His tracks are peak-time destroyers that will get any dance-floor moving and shaking.
