GPMG 1st Birthday ft Tomas More (Get The Curse)

GPMG 1st Birthday ft Tomas More (Get The Curse)

Fri 12th Apr @ TBA TBA

Guilty Pleasures of Mother Goose returns to celebrate Ma G’s 1st birthday, and what better place to do so than where it all began, in the basement of Saint Judes.

2012 was a great first year for us, starting off with 3 great parties in Saint Judes, welcoming Messrs Benedettini and Haag, followed by the wonderful Chloé. We then put on our first pop up party at Fort Goose. An Enchanted Forest Party that will live long in the memory. Towards the end of 2012 we moved our festivities to our own warehouse venue, The Old Whisky Bond and had two great daytime parties; The ‘Hat Party’ and the ‘Bring A Toy Party’, where we invited along the duos of Click Box and It’s A Fine Line.

After a prolonged break where we have been working on finding our own new venue – which is still in progress – we have invited someone we have been keen to bring to Glasgow for a while now.

Tomas More, of Get The Curse will be joining us on the 12th April in Saint Judes basement.

We will also welcome our new resident Gianluca Caroppo who will support Tomas, along with Chris Reid.

Tomas Moore //

It’s in London, that Tomas More takes his first steps in the electronic music scene, as French boys sometimes do.

In the British capital he connects with fellow producer Danton Eeprom and soon gets involved with Fondation Records, Eeprom’s own label. They don’t waste any time in launching the infamous ‘Baise-Main’ parties, the label’s residency night at the legendary T-Bar, featuring prestigious guests such as Andrew Weatherall or Chloé.

Across the Channel, they set-up ‘Fondation Black Thursdays’ at the perennial Rex Club in Paris where Tomas plays alongside Seth Troxler, Maetrik and Jamie Jones.
As a resident of these two wild and decadent club nights, he quickly develops his very own style of weird and filthy dance music.
